Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales. As a CAMHS Practitioner, you will be working with children and adolescents experiencing mental health difficulties.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality evidence-based care, including mental health assessments, risk assessments, and interventions to support emotional wellbeing and mental health.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment and intervention services to children and young people with mental health problems and significant mental health disorders.
Able to carry out mental health assessments autonomously through appropriate questioning, observations, and accurate recording, the ideal candidate will also have excellent knowledge of family dynamics and issues relating to working with families.
With a strong understanding of relevant therapeutic approaches and national policies, the CAMHS Practitioner will be able to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions based on assessment formulation.

Requirements- Relevant professional qualification and registration (NMC registered MH Nurse, NMC registered LD Nurse, SCW/Eng registered Social Worker, HCPC Registered OT, HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist)
- Eligible to practice under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010
- Post-graduate diploma or relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the specialist field acquired through specialist training and on-the-job experience
