Child Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cognitive Behaviour Therapist to join our Central CAMHS team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board NHS, a leading health organisation in Wales. The successful candidate will undertake assessments and provide evidence-based interventions to children, young people, and families.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments to identify mental health needs.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans using cognitive behavioural therapy techniques.
- Care Coordinate and supervise colleagues within the multidisciplinary team.
To work in the UK, candidates must have the necessary qualifications and experience. A recognised core profession such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology is required. Clinical Masters degree or equivalent educational or experience indicating performance at masters level is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have broad clinical experience of children and young people with complex mental health needs. Providing focused Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapies to this client group is essential. Experience of working with families, carers, and professional support systems is also required.
