About Us: Outcomes First Group is a leading provider of education for neurodivergent young people and young adults. We cater to pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviour primarily with a diagnosis of ASD.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our New Options Autism School in Suffolk. As an SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils achievement and ability to develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To teach a range of subjects to pupils aged 5 to 11 with complex educational needs
  • To plan fun and engaging sessions that cater to individual learning styles
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEN/SEMH/Autistic pupils
  • To maintain a strong safeguarding culture and ensure the well-being of all pupils

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • UK QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in an SEN school or experience working with pupils with complex additional needs
  • Calm, engaging, resilient, and innovative style of teaching

About Our Location: Our New Options Autism School will cater for pupils aged 5 to 11 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviour primarily with a diagnosis of ASD. The school will have capacity for 72 pupils and is due to open soon.
