About The Role

The Local Resilience Forum is a partnership of category 1, category 2, volunteers and other partners who work together to ensure that Gloucestershire can effectively prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. We are looking for an experienced GLRF Secretariat Manager to join our team in this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing work programmes to support the LRF sub groups
  • Helping embed lessons learnt from previous emergencies
  • Supporting the national risk assessment process
  • Facilitating presentations to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Assisting with training
  • Acting as a strategic and tactical advisor to command and control cells
