Leveraging your exceptional organizational and communication skills, we are seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Tomlinson Group of Companies.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project development and a proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the management and development of projects, assisting in all aspects of project development, including requirement review, solution development, proposal development, engineering, scheduling, technical submissions, customer relations, procurement, contract management, change management, project controls, close-outs, quality control, and safety.

As a Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:



  • Reviewing and documenting customer requirements for new installations
  • Assisting in the development of proposals for new Lystek solutions
  • Assisting in the review and development of mass balance models for new installations
  • Completing engineering estimates and projections for material flows
  • Reviewing vendor packages for conformance with Lystek and project requirements
  • Assisting in the commissioning of new Lystek systems
  • Assisting in the troubleshooting of existing Lystek systems
  • Consulting with customers, vendors, and internal resources to develop and deliver Lystek solutions
  • Preparing contract, drawing, and specification packages for the project staff
  • Preparing project schedules and updating as required using scheduling software
  • Organizing and managing equipment selections and drawings
  • Scheduling/coordinating quality control inspections
  • Completing and preparing time and material summaries
  • Assisting with initiating and tracking change orders
  • Assisting with the preparation and submittal of RFIs
  • Attending project progress meetings
  • Measuring and tracking project quantities
  • Completing as-built drawings
  • Assisting with the review of project financials throughout the course of the project
  • Assisting the Project Manager to coordinate subcontractors
  • Preparing monthly progress payments
  • Reviewing subcontractor quantities/approving sub-payment
  • Compiling and coordinating close-out documentation (Operations & Maintenance Manuals, as-built drawing packages)
  • Reviewing all contract documents, drawings, quantity sheets, etc.
  • Assisting in Lystek Laboratory duties as required
  • Tracking claims when required
  • Completing Purchase Orders

Requirements:



  • University degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of construction health and safety requirements
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Basic accounting principles knowledge is considered an asset
  • Proficient and professional in oral and written communication
  • Sound judgment, reliable, and organized
  • Valid full G class driver's license
  • Willingness to work in a team environment utilizing effective interpersonal skills with various levels within the organization and external stakeholders
