Job Title: Senior Project Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at Coel, a leading commercial workspace design and fit-out company based in Cambridge. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional workspaces for our clients.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial fit-out projects. You should have excellent organisational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and achieving project objectives on time and within budget. Your expertise in budgeting, cost tracking, and project valuations is essential, as well as your proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project). Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or Project Management would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Coordination: Manage project lifecycle, develop project timelines, and oversee programme to meet contractual obligations.
  • Budget Management: Control project budgets, track costs, and maintain accurate records. Prepare budget forecasts and manage variations in line with contract terms.
  • Quality Assurance: Address quality issues to ensure alignment with client and project specifications.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage Planning and Building Control applications and obtain required permits.
  • Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee subcontractor activities and ensure they meet project timelines and deliver to required standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial fit-out industry.
  2. Familiarity with building regulations, construction standards, and Health and Safety requirements.
  3. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and project valuations.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to client management.
  5. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  6. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
