Sustainability Coordinator and Project Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Community Manager and Project Coordinator to play a crucial role in making the Green Algorithms Initiative a success.
Key Responsibilities
- Community management: Develop and maintain Communities of Practice (CoPs) around green computing, including the Environmentally Sustainable Computational Science (ESCS) community and domain-specific CoPs when appropriate.
- Project coordination: Coordinate the day-to-day running of research programmes within the Green Algorithms Initiative, track progress, and facilitate collaboration and visits.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and project management skills, experience in managing or developing CoPs, and a proactive approach to community development.

The Green Algorithms Initiative is a world-leading project focusing on quantifying and reducing the environmental impacts of computational science through open-source resources.
Working at the University of Cambridge
The role sits within the Operational Team at the University of Cambridge, working under the supervision of Dr Loïc Lannelongue and in close conjunction with senior scientists in the Green Algorithms Initiative.
