About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team at Binnies. As a key member of our consultancy team, you will be responsible for planning and executing environmental projects to meet our clients' requirements.

Our current portfolio includes projects of varying scale and complexity across the Infrastructure, Natural Capital, Water, Energy, and Commercial Sectors, both nationally and internationally. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team with huge ambition to continue their sustained growth and deliver more for our existing clients, whilst developing and working together to bring cutting-edge solutions and industry best practice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects in terms of scope
  • Manage technical teams' time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management
  • Dependent on experience - manage consultancy projects varying in size and complexity
  • Effectively manage project change and identify opportunities
  • Coordinate and manage multi-discipline and cross-sector projects
  • Drive innovation and efficiencies into project delivery
  • Ensure H&S is at the heart of all projects
  • Understand what the client wants and deliver accordingly
  • Work with our proposals teams to ensure smooth transition from project tender to delivery
  • Assess the technical and commercial risk of projects during the sales process
  • Create and review proposals and costings for new projects

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in an Environment-related field and have a passion for delivering sustainability to clients and projects. You should also have ambition for a project management role covering environmental projects and be able to work under time pressure and balance multiple priorities.
