Job Overview

We are recruiting a highly skilled Holistic Communication Specialist to join our Community Learning Disability Team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. This team provides comprehensive support to adults with learning disabilities, encompassing both health and social care aspects.

In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering a specialist diagnostic and therapeutic service to individuals with communication difficulties and/or dysphagia, often presenting with complex physical health needs and/or challenging behaviors.

You will collaborate closely with patients, relatives, carers, and professionals to ensure well-coordinated care, facilitating effective communication and empowerment. With opportunities for ongoing training and professional development, this role offers a chance for personal and professional growth.

Expected salary: around £42,500-£58,500 per year. Benefits include payment for non-standard working hours, up to 33 days' annual leave, eligibility for the NHS car scheme, and other advantages.
