We are seeking a dedicated and creative PMLD Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Special Education Professional, you will design and deliver immersive sensory-rich lessons that cater to the unique abilities and needs of our students.

About the Role

As a PMLD Teacher Specialist, you will use a thematic approach to make learning engaging, meaningful, and memorable for our students. You will collaborate closely with dedicated teaching assistants, therapists, and families to create holistic learning plans that support each learner's progress.

You will be responsible for building strong relationships with pupils to foster trust, confidence, and a love for learning. Your exceptional teamwork and communication skills will enable you to work effectively with our collaborative team to ensure every student receives the best possible education.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £28,000 - £40,000 per year, depending on experience, which is paid weekly through PAYE. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualifications, as well as a passion for sensory and activity-based learning. They will also have empathy, resilience, and a sense of humor, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
