Job Title: Technical Project Manager for Mechanical Services
Location: Oxford, UK
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Job DescriptionAs a Technical Project Manager for Mechanical Services at Technical Global Solutions, you will be responsible for leading mechanical site managers on projects in Oxford. This role involves overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
- Ensure all necessary permits are in place and adhered to.
- Conduct inspections and testing to resolve mechanical issues.
- Liaise with contractors and the on-site client team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, and other safety protocols.
- Coordinate plant hire, tools, and labour.
- Manage on-site labour and subcontractors.
- Handle external communications.
- Order materials and update progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records in the client's Document Management System.
- Oversee project scheduling and monitor quality reporting.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A relevant trade qualification or further education in mechanical building services.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager.
- Proven experience managing teams.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to travel if required.
