Mechanical Services Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Services Project Manager to join our team at Technical Global Solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical building services, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services, as well as ensuring compliance with EHSQ protocols and other safety regulations.
About the Role:
- Job Summary: The Mechanical Services Project Manager will be responsible for managing teams of laborers and subcontractors to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
- Ensure all necessary permits are in place and adhered to.
- Conduct inspections and testing to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Liaise with main contractors and the on-site client team for smooth project execution.
- Ensure on-site compliance with EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, and other safety protocols.
- Coordinate plant hire, tools, and labour effectively.
- Manage and supervise on-site labour and subcontractors.
- Handle relevant external communications.
- Order materials required for daily site operations and update progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records in the client's Document Management System.
- Oversee project-specific scheduling and monitor quality reporting.
About You:
- You will have a relevant trade qualification or further education in mechanical building services.
- You will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager.
- You will have proven experience managing teams.
- You will have project management experience is advantageous.
- You will have strong computer literacy and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- You will be willing to travel if required.
