About the Role

  • This is a full-time position (44 hours per week) with a 3-shift rotation, including Saturdays on a 1-in-3 basis.
  • Earlies: Monday-Thursday, 06:00-15:00 & Friday, 06:00-14:00
  • Days: Monday-Thursday, 07:00-16:00 & Friday, 07:00-15:00
  • Backs: Monday-Thursday, 13:00-22:00 & Friday, 13:00-21:00
  • Saturdays (1 in 3) - 06:00-14:00

Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for safely maintaining and improving the performance of production facilities, equipment, and services. This will involve:

  • Developing engineering improvements to an ever-changing environment
  • Reacting to problems daily and finding solutions to breakdowns quickly and effectively
  • Collaborating with site teams, including the Maintenance Manager, Team Members, and other departments

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A multi-skilled manufacturing background, ideally within the food or FMCG sectors
  • Electrically biased, multi-skilled, and at a minimum, trained to an apprentice level
  • Experience with PLC automated control systems, processes, fault-finding, and analysis (particularly Siemens TIA Portal and Step 5/7 operating systems, Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 360 packages, SAP systems, and CMMS (or other), with Agility experience being advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
