Greggs is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at the North lakes bakery. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure production facilities, equipment, and services operate efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager, site teams, and other departments to improve plant performance and equipment reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, working a 44-hour week, with a 3-shift rotation. The base location for this role is Penrith, North lakes bakery.
Requirements
- Multi-skilled manufacturing background, preferably in the food or FMCG sectors.
- Electrically biased, multi-skilled, and trained to an apprentice level.
- Strong knowledge of PLC automated control systems, processes, fault-finding, and analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 360 packages, SAP systems, and CMMS software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
