Business Administration Assistant

AWD online is seeking a Customer Service Administrator / Office Administration Assistant to support our business in all back-office administrative and customer service functions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established luxury cake design brand based in North West London.
You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, updating staffing records, supporting email marketing campaigns, and general office administrative support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing filing systems, processing stock orders, liaising directly with couriers, preparing and issuing invoices, handling customer complaints, recording staff holidays, and managing other HR administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:- Efficiently manage filing systems to ensure all documents are easily accessible both on and offline
- Process stock orders and maintain accurate inventory records
- Liaise directly with couriers regarding deliveries
- Prepare and issue invoices promptly and accurately
- Handle customer complaints and queries with professionalism and empathy, escalating to the senior management team when required
- Record staff holidays, absences, and manage other HR administrative tasks
Candidate Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service and a strong administrative background
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
