YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an exceptional Business Development Executive to join our dynamic Sales team. In this role, you will cultivate strategic business relationships with new clients, enhance client satisfaction, and drive revenue growth for SoftServe while supporting our go-to-market strategies within the retail sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve assigned sales targets within a designated territory by promoting SoftServe's professional services and software development solutions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline progress and forecast accuracy, ensuring effective opportunity management.
  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, collaborating with internal legal and business teams as necessary.
  • Drive SoftServe's sales methodologies, working closely with internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Engagement Management, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Account Management) to successfully close new client deals in the retail sector.
  • Conduct and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Develop a comprehensive territory and account plan for the fiscal year, leveraging existing opportunities, targeted account strategies, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
  • Present SoftServe's value propositions and service offerings to prospective clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A proven individual contributor with a desire to expand a territory or industry.
  • A sales leader with a successful track record of closing deals exceeding $10M.
  • An expert with a relevant degree (Master's preferred).
  • A deep understanding of business challenges faced by clients.
  • Knowledgeable in public cloud technologies and relevant platforms.
  • Able to build and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Experienced with Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, custom application development, IT consulting, eCommerce, Big Data, or digital services in new client accounts within the retail sector.
  • Skilled in all aspects of consultative sales and business development, including prospecting, deal qualification, closure, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Adept at establishing new accounts and fostering high-quality relationships rather than adopting a transactional approach.
  • Familiar with diverse services across business development and delivery functions in a complex, matrixed professional services environment.
  • Connected with senior-level executives.
