School of Hard Knocks Charity is a charity dedicated to supporting individuals living in complex circumstances.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Lead to empower young people with essential life skills.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering evidence-based sport for development frameworks to support the growth of young individuals.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can assess participant SEL skills, develop individualized delivery plans, and deliver 1-2-1 sessions in accordance with these plans.

You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that our classroom plan meets the SEL needs of participants and provide guidance on managing participant SEL needs during interactions.

Additionally, you will contribute to Monitoring & Evaluation efforts by collecting data on student progress and outcomes, and collaborating with the Regional Manager to discuss student development and emotional growth.

This role requires a deep understanding of child and young person developmental stages, experience leading SEL-focused classroom sessions, and providing individual 1-2-1 support to students.

We are seeking a positive, caring attitude, active listening skills, and a comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding best practice.

**Job Description:**

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, particularly those with challenging behaviors.

They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with young people and colleagues alike.

**Estimated Salary: £31,000 per annum
