Job Description

This role is responsible for assessing participant SEL skills, developing a program of 1-2-1 sessions, inputting into the classroom plan, leading behavior management within the team, and supporting monitoring & evaluation data collection. The successful candidate will also support the delivery of SOHK classroom and rugby sessions as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess participant SEL skills, including individual Self Awareness, Self-Management, Social awareness, Relationship Skills, and Personal Decision Making.
  2. Develop a 1-2-1 delivery plan for cohorts according to need.
  3. Deliver 1-2-1 sessions with other team members, ensuring the plan is implemented effectively.
  4. Regularly review the SOHK classroom plan to consider if it best meets the SEL needs of participants, suggesting amendments where necessary.
  5. Guide staff in managing participant SEL needs during interactions.
  6. Support Monitoring & Evaluation efforts by collecting SEL Scales, Programme overviews/registers, student feedback, and creating case studies documenting student progress and outcomes.
Working Conditions

This is a term-time contract, working only on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays corresponding with school term time. The salary is £31,000 pro rata, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
