About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Social Learning Specialist. This role involves assessing participant SEL skills, developing a program of 1-2-1 sessions, inputting into the classroom plan, leading behavior management within the team, and supporting monitoring & evaluation data collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess participant SEL skills, including Self Awareness, Self-Management, Social awareness, Relationship Skills, and Personal Decision Making.
  • Develop a 1-2-1 delivery plan for cohorts according to need.
  • Deliver 1-2-1 sessions with other team members, implementing the plan effectively.
  • Regularly review the SOHK classroom plan to ensure it meets SEL needs, suggesting amendments when necessary.
  • Provide guidance to staff on managing participant SEL needs during interactions.
  • Support Monitoring & Evaluation efforts by collecting SEL Scales, Programme overviews/registers, student feedback, and creating case studies documenting student progress and outcomes.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £31,000 pro rata, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments. As a member of our team, you will also have access to opportunities for professional development and research in relevant fields.
