About the Role

We are looking for a Program Director to lead our Strategic engagement in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for driving an application development and support program (multiple projects) and working with project team leaders to assess their current needs and develop innovative solutions.

This is a high-visibility position that requires strong leadership and management skills. You will work with senior stakeholders to influence key decisions and lead a global team (Infrastructure support, Application development and support team).

The role also involves necessary travel and customer stakeholder management for Operating Companies outside the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for managing the program's budget, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily program management throughout the program life cycle
  • Defining the program governance
  • Planning the overall program and monitoring progress
  • Managing engagement teams in support of delivery projects
  • Coordinating projects and their interdependencies
  • Managing stakeholders' communication across levels and leadership teams

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in Application Development Management and IT Infrastructure Services
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Good knowledge of project and program management methodology and techniques
  • Excellent communication skills

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per year
