Job Title: Palliative Care Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Palliative Care department within the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust (OUH). As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the nursing teams across all four hospital sites and the community service that covers most of Oxfordshire and part of South Northamptonshire. The main duties of this role include providing expert clinical care, exercising professional autonomy, and working collaboratively with the Lead Specialist Nurse to develop the service.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience and clinical expertise in Palliative Care, with evidence of using evidence-based practice. A Masters level education in Nursing and a qualification in teaching and assessing in clinical practice are also essential. Strong leadership and management skills are required, as well as experience of managing a specialist nursing team and leading practice initiatives. The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
