As a highly skilled Interim People Services Manager, you will join Waddington Brown, a respected professional services sector company in East Anglia, on a contract lasting 4-6 months, with potential for extension.

Your primary objective will be to lead a small team and drive best practice development. Key responsibilities include reviewing job descriptions, restructuring the HR department, and implementing a new HR information system (HRiS). Additionally, you will explore automation opportunities within the broader organisation and establish a new grading structure to maintain competitiveness in talent acquisition.

Main Tasks:

  1. Oversee the review and revision of job descriptions within the HR function, ensuring accurate expectations among the HR team
  2. Streamline the HR department's organisational structure, establishing clear reporting lines
  3. Assess and enhance existing HR processes and activities, introducing innovative approaches as needed
  4. Implement the new HRiS, automating processes to optimise efficiency throughout the organisation
  5. Develop and implement a fair and competitive grading structure to attract top talent

Key Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in HR practices and a solid understanding of HR best practices
  • CIPD certification or equivalent preferred
  • Proven track record in managing HR departments and team leadership
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels
