A leading charity in Stroud, Gloucestershire is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing quarterly management accounts, accruals/prepayments, journal processing, and maintaining the fixed asset register. You will also report on grants and provide ad-hoc financial analysis for the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and accruals/prepayments
  • Process journals and maintain the fixed asset register
  • Report on grants and provide ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Manage the nominal ledger and control accounts
  • Support and assist with the supervision of the transactional team

Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Strong communication skills
  • Key MS Excel skills
  • Comfortable using a range of financial systems
  • Proactive and hands-on working approach
  • Quick learner and flexible to organisational needs

What We Offer:
  • Salary between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum or pro rata
