About the Role

Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to lead its charity and partnerships function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building relationships with key stakeholders, and securing funding to support the Trust's charitable activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to meet the Trust's charitable objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community groups
  • Secure funding to support the Trust's charitable activities, including capital and revenue appeals
  • Manage and coordinate fundraising events and activities
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and marketing strategies to promote the Trust's charitable activities

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising and partnerships, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong understanding of the NHS and its charitable activities.
