Markerstudy Group is a leading provider of insurance and financial services, seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to lead our HR Service Centre team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented HR Team Leader to join our team, responsible for managing a team of HR Assistants and ensuring seamless HR operations, compliance with processes, and effective management of HR projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a team of HR Assistants, including workload and resource prioritization and planning.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team to perform and achieve target performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with processes and agreed SLAs, and supporting the HR Operations Manager with overall team management and strategy.
  • Driving and implementing change, including process improvements and automation.
  • Supporting the ER and HR Business Partner community with tasks being routed to the HR Service Centre.
  • Monitoring and managing HR processing with the payroll team.
  • Working closely with other Team Leaders to balance the workload effectively.
  • Leading the team with project-based tasks, including reviewing HR process guides and ensuring they are regularly updated.
  • Undertaking regular performance reviews with team members against key targets and objectives, to identify business and personal developmental needs.
  • Adhering to FCA and Data Protection Regulations.

Requirements

  • Strong demonstrable people management skills, with experience of working in a high-pressure fast-paced environment.
  • Well-organized with a keen eye for detail, and ability to prioritize workflow volumes.
  • Experience of working in HR, with a good understanding of HR processes and procedures.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to present projects and information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to coach and communicate across the department and business.
  • Experience of managing when things are changed or required at short notice.
