This role requires commitment to a 5-day work week, including 2 weekend shifts each month, with flexible hours ranging from 07:00 to 15:00 and 10:00 to 18:00.

Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Team Leader will oversee a motivated team responsible for maintaining high standards in housekeeping and catering services.

Job Duties

  • Supervise and assist Facilities personnel in their daily tasks.
  • Provide coverage for Facilities staff as needed, which may involve working at different locations.
  • Ensure staff are informed of their responsibilities and maintain required standards.
  • Lead and inspire staff, monitoring performance through established appraisal processes.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage in line with operational needs.
  • Ensure courteous assistance is provided to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Promptly report any feedback or concerns to the appropriate manager.
  • Compile regular reports on service performance, including audits and training updates.
  • Conduct routine audits in accordance with cleanliness standards.
  • Support staff discipline and time management, addressing any issues as necessary.
  • Oversee waste management in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Monitor maintenance schedules for all equipment.
