Compliance Role within the HR Service Centre
Location: This Compliance Co-ordinator role is available in multiple locations, with a hybrid work model (2 days per week on site).
Job Description
As a key member of the Markerstudy Group's HR Service Centre, you will provide HR Administration support services to HR Business Partners, Managers, and employees throughout the Group.
Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the HR Compliance Co-ordinator will manage and support various key compliance processes in this new role.
The ideal candidate should be a skilled HR Administrator/Co-ordinator with knowledge of HR processes, controls testing, and ensuring compliance with legislation and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Identify and review HR risks and controls, propose and implement solutions in collaboration with the Operational Excellence team.
- Conduct controls testing, including making recommendations, compiling reports, and suggesting process enhancements.
- Carry out audits.
- Review and execute internal and external audit report recommendations.
- Ensure compliance and governance of legal and regulatory processes (e.g. Senior Managers & Certification Regime and Visas and Right to Work).
- Monitor compliance with processes and agreed SLAs.
- Drive and implement change.
- Assist in updating HR process guides regularly.
- Support the integration/implementation of HR Operations processes.
- Comply with FCA and Data Protection Regulations.
- Handle ad hoc duties as needed to help the team meet business needs.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of HR Admin processes.
- Understanding of Senior Managers & Certification Regime.
- Admin processing and familiarity with Visas and right-to-work documentation.
- Demonstrated track record in a busy and complex administration or compliance role.
- Experience in key risks and controls testing.
- Project management in HR.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and concise presentation of projects and information.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Well-organized with great attention to detail.
- Experience working with HR systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
