HSSU Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) team as a Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sterile equipment transportation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and dispatch used surgical instruments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Receive and inspect sterile surgical equipment, ensuring it meets our high standards
  • Support our theatre team with logistical tasks, including moving equipment and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital policies
  • Dispose of contaminated waste in accordance with hospital procedures
  • Regularly inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any faults
  • Contribute to a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
