About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in West Kent locality. As a Support Worker, you will work with individuals with learning disabilities, providing support and assistance to help them live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing person-centred care and support to service users
  • Assisting in meeting the needs and aspirations of people with learning disability and/or physical disability
  • Escorting individuals on the service minibus to access community sessions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Proven experience of care and support of other individuals
  • An awareness of the needs of people with learning disabilities with challenging behaviour, autism, epilepsy, and other disabilities
