Experienced SEN Support Worker

About the Job: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) support worker. The role will involve providing high-quality support to pupils with a range of needs, including PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and be able to empower and support pupils to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community.
- Supporting pupils with complex medical conditions and promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assisting pupils with autism to develop social and communication skills.
- Promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the school community.
Requirements: A relevant qualification and training in SEN, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience and understanding when working with pupils with challenging behaviors.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
