Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team at CV Library in Colchester.

This 9-month maternity leave cover role involves working Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary of £25,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish, copy, scan, and store documents efficiently.
  2. Maintain accurate documentation for clients, addressing their requests promptly.
  3. Issue design drawings and documentation as required.
  4. Organize physical and digital records, ensuring secure storage.
  5. Verify the accuracy of records, updating them as necessary.
  6. Promote confidentiality around sensitive documentation and projects.
  7. Perform general administrative tasks like filing and scanning.
  8. Complete ad-hoc duties assigned by the team.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Document Controller or Administrator.
  2. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  3. Demonstrated attention to detail.
  4. Ability to multitask effectively.
  5. High level of organization.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Desirable but not essential: construction and building industry experience.
