Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco Power Technique. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our customers and internal teams, ensuring the successful installation, operation, and maintenance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits to resolve technical and application problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement technical solutions to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and resolve warranty claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including service bulletins and training materials.
  • Support dealers with warranty claims and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Work closely with the Service Operations Manager to manage work-in-progress and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide on-site and remote support to service engineers to ensure they have the necessary technical expertise to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and deliver internal and external technical service training to ensure our customers and employees have the necessary knowledge to operate and maintain our products effectively.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical knowledge of at least one of the following lines: ESS Systems, Diesel Generators.
  • Experience in customer support and technical service.
  • Goal-focused mindset with a strong focus on achieving targets and maintaining effectiveness.
  • Ability to engage customers and internal teams in technical discussions and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Good presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and other relevant software.
  • Desirable: Good basic knowledge of at least two of the following lines: ESS Systems, Diesel Generators.
  • High-quality engineering background and technical service experience in generators/lighting towers/pumps/ESS Systems.
  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.
  • A full clean driving licence and right to work in the UK are essential for this role.
