About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to adults in Berkshire who are grappling with the challenges of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and formulate treatment plans for service users with EUPD, using evidence-based approaches such as Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT).
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to clients referred to the service.
  • Work in collaboration with other psychological therapists to deliver specialist psychological interventions to people with Personality Disorders.
  • Be based in IMPACTT at Erlegh House in Reading and deliver care in a number of premises across Berkshire as required.

Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology OR post-graduate qualification in adult psychotherapy.
  • Registered and accredited with Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) for psychologists or UKCP for psychotherapists.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services and experience of and interest in working with service users with personality disorders.
