Job Title: Counsellor/Psychotherapist

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join our team at My Life Counselling UK (MLCUK). As a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, you will work with clients to help them overcome various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

About the Role:
  • Provide high-quality Counselling/Psychotherapy services to clients, using evidence-based theoretical interventions, including CBT and Counselling skills.
  • Work with clients to identify and address their mental health concerns, using a person-centred approach.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as GPs and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Conduct assessments, formulate treatment plans, and monitor client progress.
Requirements:
  • BABCP/BACP registration (full or provisional).
  • Experience working in the NHS, preferably in IAPT services.
  • Minimum 200 face-to-face client hours.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with adults, children, and individuals with learning difficulties.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and managing risk, including suicide and self-harm.
