About the Role

Chemonics UK is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) practice. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and technical expertise to drive the growth and success of our MEL portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive MEL strategy to drive business growth and improve program quality.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight to MEL projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business development and growth.
  • Lead the development of proposals, bids, and business development strategies to secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and lead a team of MEL professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in MEL, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in MEL, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results and driving business growth.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Excellent technical skills in MEL, with expertise in design, implementation, and evaluation of MEL systems and processes.
  • Strong business development and proposal writing skills, with experience in developing and submitting bids and proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
