Senior Director of Monitoring, Evaluation

Chemonics UK is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning to lead our Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior-level technical oversight, expertise, and leadership to build and deliver a MEL programme portfolio as well as MEL advisory support to our portfolio of implementation contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical leadership and oversight to the MEL Practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality MEL projects and programmes.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow Chemonics UK's MEL portfolio, including market positioning, business development, and client engagement.
- Lead the development of MEL project proposals, ensuring that they meet the needs of clients and are aligned with Chemonics UK's business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of MEL projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality MEL projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring that Chemonics UK's MEL Practice is well-positioned to deliver high-quality MEL services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MEL, including best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as international development, public health, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in MEL, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality MEL projects and programmes.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading teams and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
