About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Leader to join our team at University College of Estate Management (UCEM). As a Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy and Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our academic programs and contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality online education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Learning: Provide high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment to our students, ensuring they receive a world-class education in renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Program Development: Support and manage the development and delivery of modules within the School of the Built Environment, focusing on postgraduate and undergraduate programs in renewable energy and engineering.
  • Research and Industry Liaison: Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development through scholarly activity, research, industry liaison, and engagement with UCEM staff development activities.
Requirements
  • Industry and Academic Experience: Ideally, you will have a blend of industry and academic experience, with a strong background in renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Leadership and Management: You will have experience in leading and managing academic teams, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality programs and services.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.
