The Role

We're seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for picking orders within our coldstore, using our app to update customers' deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner
  • Picking orders within the coldstore
  • Using our app to update customers' deliveries
  • Delivering exceptional customer service at all times
  • Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
  • Drive safely, responsibly, and within the law
  • Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
  • Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
  • Ensure customer confidentiality
  • Helping the office team and picking team when required
  • Reporting health and safety, stock quality, and mechanical issues

Qualifications/Personal Qualities

Essential:

  • Experience within a customer service-based role
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Basic computer literacy, including use of phone apps
  • Evidence of work stability
  • Basic secondary education

Desirable:

  • Experience of multi-drop delivery role
  • Experience within a care-based role
  • Warehouse experience
  • Health & Safety awareness

Personal Qualities

  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Good attendance and timekeeping

Requirements

You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 3 years. All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks, and DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Standard DBS Disclosure.
