Customer Delivery Driver/Picker

This role involves working 16 hours per week, with flexibility to choose any 2 days out of 6, including bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering frozen meals to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Picking orders within our coldstore, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
- Utilizing our app to update customers on their deliveries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conducting pre-shift inspections of your van to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Driving safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Cleaning and refueling your van as needed, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Communicating effectively with the office team and other drivers to ensure seamless operations.
- Reporting any discrepancies, delays, or safety concerns to the office in a timely manner.
- Maintaining customer confidentiality and adhering to our company's data protection policies.
- Assisting the office and picking teams as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Participating in local marketing activities, such as leaflet distribution and sheltered housing visits, to attract new customers.
- Previous experience in a customer service-based role, with a focus on delivering excellent service.
- A full UK Manual Driving Licence, with at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in using phone apps.
- Evidence of stable work history and a good attendance record.
- A basic secondary education, with a strong foundation in communication and teamwork skills.
