Customer Service Delivery Driver

We are seeking a skilled Customer Delivery Driver/Picker to join our team at Apetito Limited. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering frozen meals to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
- Pick orders within the coldstore
- Update customers' deliveries using our app
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
- Drive safely, responsibly, and within the law
- Clean and refuel your van as needed
- Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
- Ensure customer confidentiality
- Assist the office team and picking team as required
- Report health and safety, stock quality, and mechanical issues
- Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
- Carry out local marketing activities, such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits, to attract new customers
Requirements:
- Experience in a customer service-based role
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Basic computer literacy, including use of phone apps
- Evidence of work stability
- Basic secondary education
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in a multi-drop delivery role
- Experience in a care-based role
- Warehouse experience
- Health & Safety awareness
Personal Qualities:
- Friendly, approachable, and reliable
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Good attendance and timekeeping
You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 3 years. All offers of employment are subject to a Driving Assessment, Driving Licence checks, and DBS checks. As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Standard DBS Disclosure.
