About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team at IQ Glass, the UK's leading provider of high specification architectural glazing solutions.

As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in providing technical sales support to architects, contractors, developers, and end-users, ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely information about our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse drawings and specifications to provide expert technical advice to clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, including their technical aspects, to provide accurate and informed support to clients.
  • Collaborate with our CRM and estimating software teams to ensure seamless integration and effective use of our systems.
  • Attend meetings and provide technical support to clients as required.
  • Provide general office support as needed, including administrative tasks and data entry.
Requirements
  • Experience in a sales, customer service, or client-facing role, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new products, systems, and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
