Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Whistl. As a key member of our learning and development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees and support the achievement of our business objectives.
  • Work closely with our L&D manager and business partners to identify training needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling L&D strategy and plan that forms an integral part of our broader HR strategy.
  • Collaborate with management teams and HR business partners to maintain an up-to-date understanding of our business strategy and inform learning and development requirements.
  • Develop, design, and deliver learning and development and employee engagement communication campaigns.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of adult learning and best practice in assessing learning needs, design and delivery of blended learning solutions, and training evaluation.
  • Able to deliver training in an engaging manner to motivate and achieve high levels of engagement with a diverse group of trainees.
  • Able to organise and prioritise work to meet set deadlines – the ability to project manage a busy and complex training plan.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office including advanced MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Able to work confidently and competently with databases/LMS to track, record, analyse, and report on statistics.
