Job Title: Learning & Development Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to join our clients HR Team. This role is responsible for the coordination, administration, sourcing, and delivery of L&D activities, along with ensuring the development and maintenance of L&D systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all L&D queries within the firm.
  • Designing and delivering internal training courses, with a particular focus on IT systems and soft skills.
  • Overseeing and delivering the induction process for new joiners.
  • Coordinating internal professional development programmes, such as leadership development.
  • Coordinating all mandatory compliance training, such as AML, cyber security, etc., and creating and maintaining an annual plan for delivery.
  • Managing and maintaining L&D systems.
  • Booking external training courses in response to requests from staff.
  • Recording all training requests and keeping track of costs across different departments.
  • Collating feedback and evaluating training programmes.
  • Identifying different learning activities to support the training requirements of the firm.
  • Managing relationships with L&D providers.
  • Purchasing manuals and online subscriptions for knowledge resources.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver internal training.
  • Strong and engaging training delivery/presentation skills.
  • Experience in producing training videos and/or online training courses.
  • Experience in delivering induction programmes.
  • Skilled in delivering training on IT systems and software packages, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Tikit, DocuSign, and Bundledocs is advantageous.
  • Excellent general IT skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
  • Ability to work well to deadlines and balance competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to use initiative and take a proactive approach to work.
  • Works well in a team, willing to pitch in and help out colleagues at busy times.
  • Displays a can-do, positive attitude and sees projects through to conclusion.
  • Understanding of GDPR and its impact on the Learning & Development process
