Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator/Co-ordinator to join our Nuclear Medicine department booking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full administration/coordination and cross-site Nuclear Medicine booking service, working in conjunction with colleagues, service users, and stakeholders to provide an efficient service.

Main Duties of the Job

Key responsibilities include booking Nuclear Medicine scans cross-site, liaising with patients, relatives, and referrers, exercising initiative and judgement based on acquired knowledge and experience when dealing with enquiries, receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries as appropriate, inputting and looking up data on Trust IT systems in accordance with Trust policy, and undertaking typing tasks.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess good general education, including GCSE English and Maths A-C, RSA level II or equivalent experience, and Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment. Essential experience includes dealing with the public/customer service experience, working with a range of Microsoft Office packages, and working in a busy environment. Desirable experience includes using Trust IT systems and working in healthcare.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively and flexibly as part of a team, demonstrate an understanding of equality and diversity, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills. They will also be able to prioritize tasks, manage their time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
