Job Title: Sales Director - Packaging Solutions

Salary: Up to £65,000 per year, plus 20% bonus and other benefits

Location: Remote based, with on-the-road travel required

Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to join our team as a Sales Director - Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales across various market segments, offering our diverse range of high-performance caps and closures tailored to meet customer needs.

With a proven track record of identifying and seizing new business opportunities, you will actively prospect for new business opportunities while ensuring that key accounts are fully managed and strategically developed. You will also work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and develop customised packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of sales professionals to drive sales across various market segments
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and manage key accounts
  • Drive sales across various market segments, offering high-performance caps and closures
  • Develop customised packaging solutions for clients
  • Position our client as the go-to partner for innovative and reliable closure systems
  • Provide tailored solutions that address customer pain points
  • Prepare competitive quotes for customers, in partnership with our engineering department
  • Oversee all commercial activities in your area, ensuring compliance with internal processes

Requirements

  • Demonstrable success in sales leadership, ideally in a manufacturing environment or related industry
  • A track record of identifying and seizing new business opportunities
  • Sharp commercial acumen to identify strategic business opportunities and drive growth
  • 5-7 years of experience in a sales leadership role, with a focus on understanding customer needs
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to adapt to different business environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • A full, clean driving license, as this role involves significant travel
