At The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, we are seeking an experienced Hospice Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Inpatient Hospice. With a focus on providing exceptional care to patients with cancer, HIV, and other life-threatening illnesses, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate nurse who can provide high standards of palliative care within a multidisciplinary environment. The successful candidate will have experience at Band 5 or above in specialist palliative care or oncology and be able to demonstrate evidence-based practice.

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and has experience in mentoring junior staff members. As a Hospice Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining continuous high standards of skilled nursing care, promoting a progressive attitude to improving patient care through research and evidence-based practice, and acting as a role model and expert clinical practitioner.

The salary for this position is approximately £38,000 - £44,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including private healthcare, 27 days annual leave, and opportunities for professional development and career progression.
