Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Children's Nurse to join our team at a leading children's hospice in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment that prioritises the well-being of seriously unwell children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct line management support to Band 5 Nurses and Band 3 + 4 Specialist Carers.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the hospice, children's homes, or community settings.
  • Plan and review care in collaboration with families to ensure safety and advocacy.
  • Ensure fun, sensitivity, and compassion are integral to the care provided.
  • Administer medications and maintain the nutritional status of all children.
  • Offer training and development opportunities to staff and family members.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse (Child Branch).
  • Relevant post-qualification experience at Band 5 level.
  • Experience in nursing children with life-limiting conditions.
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to the hospice's values of kindness, excellence, and courage.
