At Classic 10 Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Care Manager to oversee a cohort of clients across Oxfordshire.

The role involves recruiting and inducting Support Workers, supervising and supporting your teams, attending regular meetings with clients, CCG contacts, peers and management, and delivering training to team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and inducting Support Workers
  • Supervising and supporting your teams
  • Attending regular meetings with clients, CCG contacts, peers and management
  • Rota planning
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Delivering training to team members
  • Incident management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Providing regular reports and updates
  • Cover shifts to support clients

Required experience includes:

  • Experience of managing multiple care packages including rota planning
  • Expertise and knowledge of working within the care sector
  • Ideal experience working with complex care conditions such as Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired Brain Injury and Nuerological Conditions
  • The ability to carry out assessments and devise care plans and risk assessments
  • The ability to carry out and document risk assessments
  • Experience of managing Support Workers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • A working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance within the care industry
  • A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience dealing with complex behaviours

Location: Homebased with frequent travel to clients' homes and occasional travel to head office locations in Southampton and Nottingham for team meetings.

As a requirement of the role, you will be required to take part in an on call rota.
