Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a Physical Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team in the delivery of physical healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with physical healthcare needs.
  • Assist senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare services, including ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations.
  • Develop and promote skills to staff as appropriate, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Provide treatment and advice on wound care, advocating for good health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills and clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of IT and ability to work semi-autonomously within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate high standards of care.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with challenging patient groups an advantage.
