Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Healthcare Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our Advanced Clinical Practitioner team in the delivery of physical healthcare.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment and advice on wound care, as well as advocacy of good health and wellbeing.
  • Support senior clinicians in the delivery of physical healthcare, including ECG acquisition, venepuncture, and immunisations.
  • Develop and promote skills to staff as appropriate, ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
  • Work semi-autonomously within a team environment, utilizing good interpersonal skills and clear communication.
  • Provide care for patients with challenging behaviors, demonstrating a flexible, individual, and person-centered approach.
